How to link NPS account with SBI Yono for online contribution?

 


Hello friends, in this article we are discussing on how to link NPS account with SBI Yono for online contribution. If you are a NPS customer and SBI customer as well as, you need to link your NPS account to SBI internet banking or mobile banking for online contribution directly without adding NPS account as a beneficiary.

 

We know that you can transfer funds to NPS account with the help of virtual ID of NPS account. You can add the virtual Id to SBI internet banking as a beneficiary and then transfer fund in IMPS, NEFT, RTGS mode. But if you don’t have NPS virtual Id and you want to transfer fund directly to NPS account then you need to link your NPS account o SBI internet banking or mobile banking app.

How to link NPS account to SBI for online contribution:

Before going to link NPS account to SBI for online contribution you have to registered SBI internet banking or mobile banking. If you have already registered with SBI internet banking or Yono Lite or Yono SBI then follow the following steps. We are discussing the linking process through Yono SBI.

 

STEP 1: Go to your mobile and login to Yono SBI mobile app.

 

STEP 2: You are now on the dashboard of your account. On this page you will see various tabs. Click on the ‘Yono Pay’ tab out of them.

 

STEP 3: As you click on ‘Yono Pay’ you will be redirected to the Yono Pay page. Here you will see all the options making payment under Yono Pay. Go to the end of the page and you will find an option ‘NPS contribution’. Click on this option here.

 


STEP 4: You will be redirected to NPS contribution page. As you reached the page a pop up message will be displayed, it says ‘No record found for the given CIF number’. Click on OK here.

 

STEP 5: Now you need to link a NPS account on this page. You will find ‘Link New NPS account’ tab on the bottom of the page. Click on this tab on this page.

 

STEP 6: Now you are asked to enter your PRAN number here. Enter your NPS account number here. Re-enter ‘confirm’ PRAN number, enter a nick name of account holder. There should not be containing space in Nickname.

 

Trick on the box before the insurance and click on ‘Next’. Keep in mind that if bank will not verify the details of your NPS account. If you entered wrong details then CRA will deny your payment.

 


STEP 7: In this step your NPS account details and their POP registration numbers will be displayed. Confirm the details and click on ‘Next’.

 

STEP 8: An OTP will be received on the mobile number registered with bank account. Enter the OTP here and click on ‘Next’ button.

 

STEP 9: Now the NPS account will be linked with your SBI account and the successful message will be appeared on this page.

 

Now you can transfer fund from the NPS contribution page easily. This is the process how to link NPS account to SBI account.
