How to cancel standing instruction in SBI net banking?

Many people wanted to know the process how to cancel standing instruction in SBI through online SBI. Therefore we are going to discuss the process. The only thing that you need to set the standing instruction through SBI net banking then you can cancel it online.

 

If your branch has set the standing instruction then you can’t cancel or close it online. In that conditions you need to visit your branch and request to cancel the standing instruction in written.

 

How to cancel standing instruction in SBI net banking:

If you have set the standing instruction through online SBI means SBI net banking then you can easily cancel the standing instruction online. For cancel standing instruction in SBI net banking follow the following steps.

 

STEP 1: Go to SBI internet banking login page and login with your user Id, password and captcha code shown on the page.

 

STEP 2: After login to your account you will see an option ‘Request & enquiries’. Click on this option.

 

STEP 3: After clicking on that option some more options will be appeared. You have to click on the option ‘standing instruction’. Click on this option again.

 

STEP 4: Now you will be on the ‘Standing instruction’ page. Here you will see three options. These are Add, View/cancel and History. Click on the option ‘view/cancel’. Then select the type of transfer as ‘fund transfer’ then click on ‘Go’ button.

 

STEP 5: In this step you will see your standing instructions. Click on the standing instruction reference number for which you want to cancel.

 

STEP 6: A new page will open where you will see your standing instruction details standing instruction ref. number, creation date, debit account number, debit account branch, account type, transaction type, transaction schedule etc. Check all the details once more and confirm ‘do you really want to cancel or not’. Scroll down the page and enter a reason for cancellation.

 

After entering the reason click on the ‘confirm’ button.

 

STEP 7: A pop up massage will be displayed it will ask you that ‘are you sure you want to cancel the standing instruction’. If you wish to cancel then click on ‘OK’ otherwise click on ‘Cancel’ to go back.

 

STEP 7: After clicking on ‘OK’ a massage will displayed on the page that ‘standing instruction cancelled successfully’.
