When we use SBI internet banking through mobile application or through web browser, we need to add beneficiary to transfer funds. We can also set transfer limit for each beneficiary. But sometimes we don’t need to use some beneficiaries. In that conditions we want to delete the beneficiary from the beneficiary list.

 

Moreover sometimes we add beneficiary for one transaction only. We don’t use that beneficiary thereafter. Then also we want to delete the beneficiary from SBI net banking.

How to delete beneficiary in SBI Yono lite app:

Here is the step by step process of how to delete beneficiary in SBI net banking. Follow the following steps.

 

STEP 1: First go to your mobile and open “Yono Lite” mobile application.

 

STEP 2: After opening the application login using your MPIN or user Id and password of SBI internet banking.

STEP3: After login to your account you will see the dashboard of the application. Here you will find an option ‘Fund Transfer’. Click on this “Fund Transfer” option.

 


STEP 4: In this step you will see a list of different options under ‘Fund Transfer’ section. You need to find and click on the option ‘Add/Manage beneficiary’.

 


STEP 5: A new page will open. You are asked to enter your internet banking profile password here. Enter your SBI profile password and click on ‘Submit’ button.

 

STEP 6: After submitting the profile password you will be redirected to another page. Here you have to select the beneficiary type as ‘other bank account’ and ‘State Bank Account’. If your beneficiary account which you wish to delete belongs to other than SBI then select the option ‘other bank account’ and if the account is a SBI account then select the option ‘State Bank Account’.

 


STEP 7: Now a list of beneficiaries under the selected type will be displayed. You will also see a bin icon against the beneficiaries. Click on the bin against the beneficiary which you want to delete.

 


STEP 8: A pop up massage will be displayed. It asks that ‘do you really want to delete the beneficiary details’. Click on the option ‘Yes’.

 

STEP 9: Now a massage will displayed saying that ‘beneficiary details has been deleted successfully.
