Public Provident Fund (PPF) is one of the most popular long-term savings schemes in India, known for its tax benefits and guaranteed returns. While PPF accounts come with a mandatory 15-year maturity period, you do not have to wait that long to access your funds in times of need.
State Bank of India (SBI) allows account holders to make partial withdrawals from their PPF account completely online through the SBI YONO app once the eligibility criteria are met.
