Many of IRCTC users don’t know how to download train ticket insurance policy online. That is why we are discussing the topic on this article.

 

How to download IRCTC insurance policy online:

Before going to download IRCTC travel insurance policy you should update nominee in the insurance first. If you have not updated nominee in that insurance update it first and follow the following steps. If you want to know how to update nominee in IRCTC travel insurance then click here.

 

STEP 1: Go to IRCTC mobile app and login to your account clicking on login button using your user Id, password or MPIN or finger print.

 

STEP 2: After logged in to your account you are on the dashboard of IRCTC app. Click on ‘Train’ option here.

 

STEP 3: You will find some more options on the ‘Train’ page. Here you will find ‘My bookings’ option. Click on this option.

 

STEP 4: As you click on the ‘My Bookings’ option a new page will open. Here your upcoming bookings will be appeared on the screen. Click on the booking for which you want to download the travel insurance.

 

STEP 5: Your ticket details will be appeared on the screen. Scroll down the page and go to the insurance section of the ticket. Here you will see the policy certificate numbers for the passengers on this ticket.

 

You will also see a link ‘click here to fill the nominee details’. Click on this link.

 

STEP 6: Now you will be redirected to policy provider’s page where you are asked to enter your PNR number or policy certificate number or transaction id. Enter any one of them then enter your mobile number linked with IRCTC account and the captcha code. After entering all the details click on ‘continue’.

 

STEP 7: Here you will see the passengers name on the ticket. If you did not update your nominee then here you will find an option ‘Add nominee’. If so then update the nominee first.

 

If you have already updated the nominee scroll down this page to the bottom and click on the link ‘download IRCTC PA policy certificate’.

 

Your policy will be downloaded on your device. Open the policy and check it. You will find the policy certificate for all of the passengers on the ticket separately on the same PDF.
