in NPS app’. We know that up to some days before we have to login to NPS app by
entering PRAN number and account password. But NPS has changed the login system
recently. Now you can login to your NPS account by using biometric and MPIN
authentication on NPS app.
Many times we forgot our
password or we need to see the password on dairy again and again to login NPS
account. If we set MPIN then it easy to remember or if set fingerprint authentication
it is easier to login the
NPS app.
That is why most of the
NPS customers who are using NPS mobile app want to login with MPIN and
fingerprint. Now NPS app updated for MPIN and fingerprint authentication login.

How to set MPIN & fingerprint login in NPS app:
Before going to set fingerprint
and MPIN authentication on NPS app you should know your NPS account password.
Because of, you have to login to your NPS app using password for the first
time. If you have the same then follow the following steps.
STEP 1: Go
to your mobile and open the NPS app. Enter your PRAN number and password to
login to your account.
STEP 2:
Now you are logged in to your account. On this page you will see your current
value of investment. Scroll down the page here. You will see four links view
investments, retirement goals, past contributions and view profile. Click here
on ‘view profile’.
STEP 3: Your
profile section will be appeared on the screen. Your name, email, mobile
number, address etc. will be displayed on the screen. Scroll down the page. You
will see two options under the ‘login authentication’. These are use biometric and
use 4 digit PIN.
STEP 4:
Click on the ‘setup’ link under the ‘use 4 digit PIN’ option first. A pop up
page will appeared on the screen. Here you are asked to enter your four digits
PIN of your choice and re-enter the four digits PIN. Enter the both and click
on ‘finish’.
A message will be shown ‘MPIN
is set up successfully’.
STEP 5: Again
go to the login authentication and click on the ‘set up’ link under the ‘use
bi0metric’ option. You will be asked to touch the fingerprint sensor of your
mobile. Make the fingerprint authentication of your mobile as you asked.
Again a message will be
appeared ‘Biometric set up successful’. Now
from the next time you can login to your NPS account using MPIN and biometric.
