How to
deposit money in PPF account through BHIM UPI:
Here we are discussing the topic through BHIM UPI. But most
of the UPI has the same process for transferring funds to bank accounts. Now
follow the following steps.
STEP 1: Go to
your mobile and open the BHIM UPI mobile application. Log in to your account
using MPIN or fingerprint.
STEP 2: As you
logged in to your account you will be on the home page of your account. Here
you will find various icons for various services. Click on the icon ‘Send to
Bank’ icon out of them.
STEP 3: A list
of banks will be appeared on the screen. Find your bank in which your PPF
account is associated with. You can also search your bank by writing the name
of bank on the search bar.
As you find the name of your bank then click on it.
STEP 4: Now you
are asked to enter the IFS code of your bank branch, name of the account
holder, account number and confirm account number. Enter the PPF account holder’s
name, IFS code of your bank branch, PPF account number and confirm PPF account
number. Finally click on ‘send’.
STEP 5: In this
page you have to enter the amount to be transferred and a remark (which is
optional). Enter the amount and remark (remark is usually given to identify
your transaction further, so that you can understand your remark for which you
have done the transaction). Finally click on ‘send’.
STEP 6: You
will be redirected to UPI PIN page. Here you are asked to enter your UPI 6
digit PIN. Enter the PIN and click on ‘Submit’.
Your payment will be successful and the details of
transaction will be appeared on the screen. You can note down the reference Id
for further correspondence. At the same time if you check your PPF account
statement you will see your money is deposited to your account.
