How to cancel BHIM UPI Mandate/Auto Pay?

If you are a BHIM UPI user sometimes you might have set UPI mandate or Auto Pay for any purpose like OTT platform monthly recharge, electricity bill, mobile bill, mutual fund bill etc. But after sometimes if you want to stop the Auto pay in BHIM UPI then how to stop Auto pays in BHIM UPI?

 

Actually while you have set an one time mandate in BHIM UPI the beneficiary company gives you a long period of time, so that if you forgot or don’t know to stop the payment their subscription amount will automatically deposited to their account. Though you don’t want to use the platform, the subscription amount will be debited from your account unwantedly.

How to close BHIM UPI mandate:

Before going to stop BHIM UPI mandate you should remember your BHIM UPI login PIN and transaction PIN. If you have the both password then follow the following steps.

 

STEP 1: Go to your mobile and open the BHIM UPI application, then login to your account using login PIN or fingerprint.

 

STEP 2: After login to your account you will see the dashboard of your account. Here you will see an option ‘Mandate’. Click on this option here.

 

STEP 3: As you click on the ‘Mandate’ option on the above step you will see the available active mandates on this page. Click on the mandate you want to cancel.

 

STEP 4: The details of selected mandate will be appear on the screen. Here you can do two actions. One is you can pause the mandate for a selected period and you can revoke or close the mandate.

 

To pause the mandate, go to the end of the page and click on ‘Pause’ button. On the next page select the start date and the end date and then click on ‘submit’.

 

To revoke or stop the mandate you will find a three dot option on the right side top of the page. Click on this option. As you click on the three dot option a ‘Revoke’ tab will be appeared. Click on this ‘Revoke’ tab here.

 

STEP 5: A pop up message will be appeared. Read the message and click on ‘Revoke’ button.

 

STEP 6: In this page you are asked to enter your transaction PIN. Enter the PIN and click on trick mark on the keypad appeared.

 

The successfully revocation message will be appeared on the screen and you will also receive SMS from BHIM UPI as well as from the beneficiary company about it.
