How to disable Yono SBI biometric authentication?

 

Hello friends, in the last blog we have discussed on how to enable Yono SBI biometric authentication and in this video we are discussing on how to disable biometric authentication in Yono SBI. Many times people who are using fingerprint login in Yono SBI want to disable the process.

 

But they don’t know how to disable Yono SBI fingerprint login. Therefore we are describing the step by step process here. SBI gives you the facility of fingerprint login for Yono quick services. You can enable or disable this facility when needed. This is the main reason why we are discussing on this topic.

 

How to disable Yono SBI biometric authentication:

Before going to disable fingerprint login in Yono SBI you should have enabled Yono SBI fingerprint login. If you have already enabled the fingerprint authentication then follow the following steps for disabling fingerprint authentication.

 

STEP 1: Go to Yono SBI and login to your account.

 

STEP 2: Click on the three line option on the right side top corner of the page.

 

STEP 3: A list of various options will be appeared. Click on option ‘Service request’ option.

 

STEP 4: Now you will be redirected to ‘Service Request’ page. Click on the option ‘Settings’.

 

STEP 5: As you click on ‘Settings’ a list of various settings will be appeared. Find the option ‘Enable/ Disable biometrics for Yono access.’

 

STEP 6: Now you are on the biometrics page. In this page you will see the ‘Enable/Disable touch Id authentication’ button is ON. You need to turn off the button here. Turn off the button, trick on the box before terms and conditions and click on ‘Submit’ button.

 

STEP 7: A message will be displayed on the screen it says ‘On disabling biometrics, you will not be able to use biometric authentication for any Yono quick Pay transaction’. Click on ‘OK’ here.

 

STEP 8: An OPT will be received on the registered mobile number with bank. Enter the OTP here and click on ‘submit’.

 

STEP 9: Your touch Id authentication will be disabled.
