Here we are discussing the process on mobile app. You can also pay LIC premium through LIC website. Therefore you need to download and install ‘LIC customer app’ on your mobile first. Thereafter you can proceed to pay LIC premium. Now follow the following steps.

 

STEP 1: Go to ‘LIC customer app’ on your mobile and open the application.

 

STEP 2: As you open the LIC customer mobile app on your mobile, five icons will be displayed on the screen. Out of them click on the icon ‘Pay Direct’.

 

STEP3: In this page you will see two options. One is ‘Pay Direct’ and the second is ‘view/download Receipt’. Click on the first one and select the term ‘Renewal Premium/Revival’ and click on ‘Done’.

 

STEP 4: In this page the steps of the process will be displayed. Click on ‘Proceed’ button here.

 

STEP 5: You will be redirected to the customer validation page. In this page you are asked to enter your policy number, Instalment premium without tax, email Id and mobile number. Enter all the details correctly and click on ‘submit’.

 

STEP 6: Here you need to trick on the box before ‘I agree’ and click on ‘submit’ again.

 

STEP 7: In this page your premium particulars will be displayed. Here you will find your policy number, premium due for the period and the amount of the premium. Click on ‘Proceed’ button on this page.

 

STEP 8: As you click on the ‘Proceed’ button on the above step you are asked to select your payment gateway. Select your payment gateway on this page and click on ‘Check and Pay’ button.

 

STEP 9:  You will be redirected to payment page. Here you can pay using credit card. Debit card, internet banking, wallet, UPI etc. Select your payment method and complete the payment.

 

STEP 10: After successful payment you will see the payment details on this page. At the end of the page you will see ‘Back to LIC’ option. Click on this option.

 

STEP 11: You will again bring to LIC page and successful premium payment message will be displayed on the screen. Here you will find a link ‘Download Receipt’. Click on this link and download the receipt. You will also be received the receipt on the email you have entered before going for payment.
