How to upgrade downgrade access level in SBI account?

 

Hi friends, in this topic we are discussing about how to upgrade downgrade access level in SBI account. If you are a SBI customer and you are using SBI internet banking then you can easily change transaction rights.

One can upgrade/downgrade SBI internet banking transaction right. SBI gives you three transaction rights view only, full transaction right and restricted transaction right. If you select view only then you can view your account details, you can’t transfer money or online payments. If you select full transaction right then you can do all transactions without any restrictions. And if you select restricted transaction right then you can transfer money on your accounts means within the same CIF number accounts like PPF, RD etc.

 

How to upgrade/downgrade access level in SBI account:

Here you will find the step by step process of SBI net banking transaction right change. Follow the following steps to know how to upgrade/downgrade access level in SBI account.

 

STEP 1: Go to SBI internet banking login page and login with your user Id, password, captcha code and OTP received on your registered mobile number.

 

STEP 2: After login you need to click on the ‘Request & enquiries’ tab on the upper bar of the page. As you click on ‘Request and enquiries’ a list of different options will be displayed. Click on the option ‘Upgrade/downgrade access level’ option out of them.

 

STEP 3: In this page you will see your account and its current transaction right. Select the access level of your choice from the drop down menu. You will find three access levels view only, full transaction right and restriction transaction rights. After selecting the access level from the box click on the ‘submit’ button.

 

STEP 4: An OTP will be received on your registered mobile number with SBI internet banking. Enter the OTP on this page and click on ‘confirm’ button.

 

STEP 5: A massage will be displayed. It says that your request to upgrade/downgrade access level for the selected account has been accepted successfully and the same will be updated within 24 hours.
