How to pay Postal Life Insurance online:

Before going to pay postal life insurance premium online you need to generate customer Id and password. You can generate the customer Id and password from the website https://pli.indiapost.gov.in login page by clicking on ‘generate customer Id’ option. Thereafter you can pay premium online by following the following steps.

 

STEP 1: Go to the website https://pli.indiapost.gov.in and open the home page of the website.

 

STEP 2: In this page you will see the ‘login’ option on the top bar of the page. Click on the ‘login’ button here.

 

STEP 3: In this page you need to enter your customer Id, password and the captcha code shown on the page. Enter all the required details and click on ‘login’ button.

(Here you also see an option ‘Generate Customer Id’ under the login button. If you have not generated your customer Id and password then you can generate it by clicking this option.)

 

STEP 4: Now you are logged in to your account. In this page you will see an option ‘payments’. Click on this option. As you click on ‘payments’ option three more options will be appeared. Click on the option ‘pay premium’ here.

 

STEP 4: A new page will open. Here you will see the policy number, product name, product type, premium amount etc. Select the policy here and click on ‘confirm premium’ button.

 

STEP 5: In this page the details of amount payable will be displayed. Check the premium details here and click on ‘pay now’ button.

 

STEP 6: Now you will be redirected to the payment gateway page. In this page you have to select your payment gateway. You will find two gateway here one is SBI and the other is PAY YOU. Select anyone of the gateways and click on ‘Continue to Pay’ button.

 

STEP 7: The various payment options will be appeared select anyone of the payment options and complete the payment.

 

STEP 8: After successful payment the payment receipt will be displayed on the screen. In this screen you will see a ‘print receipt’ option. Click on this option to print or save the payment receipt.
