How to pay electricity bill through Airtel thanks app:

Before going to pay electricity bill through Airtel thanks app you need to register first. To register install the application on your mobile from Google Play store and enter your mobile number. One OTP will receive on your mobile, enter the OTP, your name and you will be registered on Airtel Thanks app. After registration follow the following steps to pay electricity bill online using Airtel thanks.

 

STEP 1: Open the Airtel Thanks app on your mobile.

 

STEP 2: You will see your account details and some options like recharge, my bills, Airtel Backup, NETC Fat Tag, electricity bill etc. Click on the option ‘electricity bill’ here.

 

STEP 3: In the next step you are asked to select your state in which you have to pay your electricity bill.

 

STEP 4: As you select the name of the state on the above step, a list of electricity provider companies will be appeared. You need to select your electricity provider company name from the biller list. Select the biller here.

 

STEP 5: In this step you will see your state name and biller name which you have selected on the above steps. You have to enter your electricity consumer Id on the box. Enter your electricity consumer number and click on ‘proceed’ button.

 

STEP 6: Now your bill details will be displayed on the screen. You will find you’re the consumer name, bill number, bill date, bill due date, bill amount etc. Check the details and click on ‘pay now’ button.

 

STEP 7: After clicking on the ‘pay now’ button, you will be redirected to the payment page. Here you have to select your payment option. You will find two payment option here the first one is ‘Airtel Money’ and the second one is add a debit card/ATM card/Credit card option. Select any one of the options and complete your payment.

 

STEP 8: After completing the payment the ‘payment successful’ massage will be displayed. Here you also see the transaction Id, transaction amount, consumer id etc. You can take screen shot of this transaction details.
