How to link Aadhaar with PAN card online in new portal:

Before going to link Aadhaar and PAN you should know that the name in Aadhaar and PAN should be same. The date of birth on both cards should be same. If all the details are matches in both card details then follow the following steps.

 

STEP 1: Go to www.incometax.gov.in and open the home page of the website.

 

STEP2: Now you are on the home page of e-filing income tax India website. Now scroll down the page. You will see some different options on the screen. Out of them you will see an option ‘Link Aadhaar with PAN’. Click on this option here.

 

STEP 3: A new page will open. Here you are asked to enter your Aadhaar number, PAN number, Name as on your Aadhaar, mobile number etc. Enter all the details here.

 

Then trick on the box before the term ‘I have only year of birth on the Aadhaar card’ if only the birth year is printed on your Aadhaar card instead of date of birth.

Then trick on the box before the term "I agree to validate my Aadhaar details" and finally click on the option "link Aadhaar"

 

STEP 4: Now an OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number with Aadhaar number. Enter the OTP in this page and click on the ‘validate’ button.

 

STEP 5: A massage will be displayed on the screen. It says that your request for Aadhaar and PAN linking has been sent to UIDAI for validation. Please check the status latter by clicking on ‘link Aadhaar status’ from the home page.
