How to Lock / Unlock SBI debit card online:

We are discussing the locking unlocking process of SBI ATM card through Yono SBI. If you have not registered on Yono SBI then register first and follow the following steps.

 

STEP 1: Go to Yono SBI mobile app and login to your account.

 

STEP 2: Now you are on your account’s dashboard. Here you will find an icon “Cards”. Click on this icon.

 

STEP 3: You will be redirected to “My cards” section. Here you will see a tab “My Debit Cards”. Click on this button.

 

STEP 4: Your debit card page will be opened. Here on the bottom line you will see an option “Mange Usage & Limits”. Click on this option.

 

STEP 5: If your card is active then you will see the “Domestic Usage” and “International Usage” switch on. Then you can deactivate the card by switch off the usages options. Now switch off the “Domestic Usage” and “International Usage” switch and click on “Save Changes”.

 

STEP 6: An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number. Enter the OTP and “Submit”.

 

STEP 7: A message will be displayed “usage and limits updated successfully”.  It means your card is deactivated. Now if you want to use this card you could not use the card. Your card is locked now.

 

STEP 8: Again if you want to activate / unlock the card, you need to go to the debit card page. Go to the debit card page and click on “Mange Usage & Limits”.

 

STEP 9: This time you will see the “Domestic Usage” and “International Usage” switches OFF. Switch on both switches and click on “Save Changes”.

 

STEP 10: An OTP will be received. Enter the OTP and click on “submit’.

 

STEP 11: Again you will see a message displayed. “Usage and Limits Updated Successfully”. Now you can use your card. Your card is activated now.
