How to know your CKYC number?

 

Hello friends, in this article we are going to discuss on the topic “how to know your CKYC number?”  CKYC means Central Know Your Customer number. We all know that if we go to open an account, mutual fund purchase, Demat account opening, buy insurance etc. we need the KYC. The financial institution asks your documents to update KYC.

 

If you have the CKYC number, then you need not provide the documents again and again. Fill the CKYC number for your KYC verification. In general your bank institution submits your required KYC documents in CKYC portal. But many of the Banks does not do it. If the banks don’t do it then you need to request your bank to apply for CKYC. Many of people wanted to know are they registered in CKYC or not. That is why we are discussing this topic on the following paragraphs.

How to know your CKYC number:

To know the CKYC number we will need the mobile number which the customer linked with his bank account. Now follow the following steps.

 

STEP 1: Go to Google and type https://ckycindia.in

 

STEP 2: You will find some search result. Click on the first search result “Fetch Your CKYC card”.

 

STEP 3: You will be redirected to “Fetch CKYC details” page. Here you are asked to enter your mobile number and captcha code. Enter both of them. Keep in mind that you have to enter the mobile number which is linked to your Bank. Enter both and click on “Next”.

 

STEP 3: An OTP will be sent to your mobile number. Enter the OTP here and submit.

 

STEP 4: If you have registered to CKYC before then your CKYC will be appeared on the screen. It will also be received on mobile number.

 

STEP 5: If you don’t have CKYC number then it will say your mobile number is not registered with CKYC.

 

If you want CKYC number then request your bank to update CKYC. This is the process how to know your CKYC number.
