STEP 1: Go to mobile and install and open the mobile app ECINET.

 

STEP 2: Here you need to login first. Hence go to profile section. As you click on the profile symbol you will ask to enter your registered mobile number for login. But if you have not registered yet, then click on “New User” and create an account first.

 

Then enter your mobile number and click on “Send OTP”. Enter the OTP received on the given mobile number and click on “Login”.

 

STEP 3: Now you are logged in to your account. Now click on the “voter registration form” link on the dashboard.

 

STEP 4: A new page will open. Scroll down this page and you will see various forms. Click on the “Form 8” link out of them.

 

STEP 5: You will redirected to voter help page. Go to the end of the page and click on “Let’s Start”.

 

STEP 6: You will ask “do you have your voter id card or not”. Select yes if you have the card or no if you don’t have the card. As we have the card we will select “Yes” and click on “Next”.

 

STEP 7: In this page you are asked to enter your EPIC / Voter Id card number. But it will auto filled as you have given the voter card number at the time of account creation.

 

Select your state from the drop down menu and click on “Fetch details”.

 

STEP 8: A message will be appeared. It says that we found the following details and click on the “proceed” button. Hence click on “proceed” button.

 

STEP 9: Your voter details will be appeared on the screen. Click on “Next” button.

 

STEP 10: In this page you will see your name, name in regional language etc. Go to the end of the page and enter your mobile number and email address. Finally click on “Next”.

 

STEP 11: You have to select the option why you are submitting the application. Select the option “Correction of entries in existing “Electoral Roll” and click on “Next”.

 

STEP 12: Here you have to select the things in where you need to make correction like name, DOB, mobile number, email, address, photo etc. We need to make correction in name and DOB hence we will select both and click on “Next”.

 

STEP 13: Now enter your correct details, select a document for proof of the selected category. Like PAN Aadhaar etc. and upload it.

 

Then enter the mobile number and click on “verify”. An OTP will be sent to your mobile number and enter the OTP on this page and click on “verify”.

 

STEP 14: A blue trick will be appeared against your mobile number. Click on Next button here.

 

STEP 15: Declarations will be appeared on the screen. Go to the end of the page enter the place from where you are submitting the application and click on “Done”.

 

STEP 16: Your application form will be appeared on the screen. Check it once again and check the declarations and click on “eSign and submit”.

 

STEP 17: Now select Aadhaar number then enter the Aadhaar number, select the Aadhaar OTP options and then click on “Get OTP”.

 

STEP 18: An OTP will be received on the registered mobile number with Aadhaar.” Enter the OTP and click on “submit”.

 

STEP 19: Your application will be submitted successfully. You will see your reference Id. Note this Id and keep it for further communication with Election commission of India.
