How to download vehicle challan:

Before going to download the challan PDF you will need the vehicle number or challan number. Hence keep them handy and follow the following steps.

 

STEP 1: Go to https://parivahan.gov.in and open the home page of the website.

 

STEP 2: Place the cursor on the “online services” tab. A list of various options will be appeared. Click on the option “e-Challan”.

 

STEP 3: You will be redirected to challan page. Here you are asked to login. But you don’t need to login here, click on the link “Get Challan Details”.

 

STEP 4: On this page you can get your challan details in three ways, by your challan number, by vehicle number or by driving license number. We select the vehicle number here.

 

STEP 5: As you select the vehicle number you are asked to enter your vehicle number and the captcha code displayed on the box. Enter both credentials correctly and click on “Get Details”.

 

STEP 6: An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number which is linked with your vehicle RC. Enter the OTP on this page and click on “Submit”.

 

STEP 7: As you submit the OTP you will see the available challan against your vehicle number. Here you will see your name, vehicle number, challan number, amount to be paid etc.

 

STEP 8: Click on the “print” symbol under the Print tab. You will ask to select the location to save the PDF and enter name of the file. Enter both of the details and click on “Save”.

 

Your challan PDF will be downloaded successfully. You will find the all details of your challan on this PDF. This is the process how to download challan of your vehicle online.
