How to add bank account to LIC policy?

 


Hello friends, in this article we are discussing on the topic how to add bank account to LIC policy. Actually to get the payment from LIC we need to fill a NEFT from against your policy at the time of maturity or anytime. You can fill this form online also.

 

Many of LIC customers don’t aware of this process. Therefore we are discussing the process how to link bank account to LIC policy online on this description.

 

If we link bank account online to our policy then we don’t need to fill NEFT form at the time of maturity or to get any money back from your LIC policy.

How to add bank account to LIC policy online:

Before going to add bank account to LIC policy you should register with LIC online portal and then LIC premier service first. If you have done both registration before then follow the following steps.

 

STEP 1: Login to LIC online portal account.

 

STEP 2: Click on ‘service request’ app from the dashboard of your account.

 

STEP 3: Now you are on the service request page. Select the service request as ‘NEFT Registration’ from the drop down menu.

 

STEP 4: A new page will open. You will see some instructions about NEFT registration process. Read these instructions first. Then trick on the box before ‘I have read and understand the conditions’ and click on ‘Proceed’ button.

 

STEP 5: Your policies which you have added to LIC online portal account and which are eligible for NEFT registration will be appeared on the screen.

 

Select the policy for which you want to add bank account number and click on ‘Proceed’.

 

STEP 6: An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number with your policy. Enter the OTP received and click on ‘Submit’.

 

STEP 7: In this page you are asked to enter your bank account details like bank name, IFSC, account type, account number, bank address, PAN number etc.

 

Enter all the details asked and click on ‘Save’.

 

STEP 8: A pop up message will appear. It says that ‘Data saved successfully, click on generate form to download NEFT form’. Click on OK here.

 

STEP 9: You will see a ‘Generate NEFT form’ option. Click on this option.

 

STEP 10: Your form NEFT form will be appear on a new window.  Click on the download symbol or print symbol on the top of the page. Your form will be downloaded to your device.

 

STEP 11: Now take print out of the page. Place your PAN card and a cancelled cheque of your account which is entered to add with your policy. Sign on the ‘signature of the policy holder’ place and take a photo or scan copy of this form.

 

Save this image on the maximum size of 200 KB.

 

STEP 12: After taking the scanned or photo image of the form, again login to your LIC portal account. Go to ‘service request’ and then select NEFT registration again.

 

Trick on the box ‘I understand’ and click on ‘Proceed’.

 

STEP 13: An alert will be displayed on the screen, it says ‘you already have a service request pending /incomplete, click OK button to complete the same’.

 

Click on the OK button on this message.

 

STEP 14: As you click on ‘OK’ on the message appeared, you will ask to enter the image of the form. Select the image from your PC or device and click on upload.

 

STEP 15: ‘Document uploaded successfully’ message will be appeared on the screen. You will see three declarations on the screen. Trick on every box against the declarations and click on ‘Submit’.

 

STEP 16: Your service request is successfully placed. You will see your service request number on the page. Note it for future communications. You will be intimate by email and message while the service request is accepted.

 

It will take three to five days to complete the process.
