How to pay electricity bill using BHIM UPI?

 

Hello friends, in this blog we are going to discuss on how to pay electricity bill using BHIM UPI. If you are using BHIM UPI mobile application to pay merchandise, online shopping sites, send money to any person etc. then you can easily pay electricity bills, mobile bills, do mobile recharge, do DTH recharge etc. through BHIM app.

 

We all know the UPI is very easy and convenient to pay anyone online. Paying of electricity bill through BHIM UPI is very easy. You can do it only in a few clicks. If you want to know the process then read this article till end.

 

How to pay electricity bill using BHIM UPI:

Before going to pay electricity bills using BHIM UPI you should have registered with BHIM UPI first. If you have already registered with BHIM UPI application then follow the following steps.

 

STEP 1: Go to mobile and login to your BHIM UPI application.

 

STEP 2: Now you are logged in to your account and you are on the dashboard of your account. Here you will see ‘Electricity’ option under ‘Bill Pay’ section. Click on ‘electricity’ option here.

 

STEP 3: You will be redirected to another page. In this page you have to select your state name. Select the state name where your electricity connection is available.

 

STEP 4: As you select the state name, the electricity distributor company names will be displayed. Select your electricity company name.

 

STEP 5: In this page you are asked to enter your electricity consumer Id. Enter the consumer Id and click on ‘Get bill details’ button.

 

STEP 6: The page will fetch your payable bill amount from the electricity distribution company. The payable amount will be displayed on the screen. Click on ‘Pay’ here.

 

STEP 7: Now you will be redirected to payment approval page. Here on the top of the page you will see the amount payable. Now enter the UPI PIN and click on the trick mark to approve the payment. As you click on trick mark your payment will be successful. The successful payment message will be displayed on the screen. You will also get message from your electricity provider company after sometimes.
