completion of 15 years of your PPF account how can you extend your account for
another five years?

a PPF account want to know how he or she can extend PPF maturity date so that
he or she can invest more time in PPF. Therefore we are discussing how to
extend PPF account in SBI.

How to extend PPF account in SBI online after 15
years:
Before going to
extend your PPF account you should have your internet banking username and
password. IF these credentials are handy follow the following steps.
STEP 1: First go to SBI internet banking login page and login with your user
Id, password, captcha code and OTP received on your registered mobile number.
STEP 2: Now you are logged in to your account and you will reach at your
account summary page. On the top bar of the page you will see an option
‘Deposit and investment’. Click on this link.
STEP 3: As you click on ‘Deposit and investment’ on the above step you will be
redirected to ‘deposit and investment’ page. In this page you will see another
some options. Out of them click on the option ‘Public Provident Fund (PPF)’.
STEP 4: In this page again you will see some options under the PPF section.
Click on the option ‘PPF account extension’.
STEP 5: A new page will be appeared, in this page you are asked to select your
savings bank account and click on ‘proceed’ button.
STEP 6: You will be redirected to the confirmation page. Here you will see your
PPF account number, account current maturity date, account opening date, tenure
to be extended for 5years etc. If all details are OK then click on ‘confirm’.
STEP 7: An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number with bank. Enter
the OTP on this page and click on ‘submit’. Your PPF account will be extended
for another 5 years.
