But in the year 2022 the process of booking flight ticket in Air Asia website is slightly changed. Therefore to tell updated process I am writing on this topic again.

 

Many of Air travelers liked to book ticket from Airlines website directly. However sometimes the fare of the tickets seen low in the airlines website than other travel ticket booking websites. How to book flight ticket in Air Asia website in 2022:

You can book flight ticket from Air Asia website or Air Asia android app directly.  To know the process of booking air ticket in Air Asia website follow the following steps.

 

STEP 1: Go to the website https://airasia.co.in and open the home page of the website.

 

STEP 2: After opening the home page of the website you will see some options like one way or round trip, fly from, fly to, date of journey etc. Select the one way or round trip as you need, enter starting airport name and destination airport name and date of journey as the website asks.

 

You can also select discounted fare from ‘special fare’ section. You can select special fare if you are a doctor, nurse, student, armed force personal etc. Select it if you are authorized for special fare. Finally click on ‘Search flights’.

 

STEP 3: Now the available flights are shown on the screen. Select your suitable flight from the list and click on ‘Continue’. You can also check fare breakdown clicking on ‘Fare Summary’.

 

STEP 4: As you click on ‘continue’ on the above step a new page will open. In this step you are asked to enter name, email and mobile number etc. Enter the details and click on ‘Save’.

 

STEP 5: Again you will see the above details on primary contact. Click on ‘Save’ once again.

 

STEP 6: As you click on ‘Save’ button on the above step you will see an option ‘Continue to Add-ons’. Click on this option.

 

STEP 7: In this page you will see the add-ons. Select if you need anything like meals, wheel chair etc. and click on ‘Continue to seat’.

 

STEP 8: A new page will open. In this page you are asked to select seat of your choice. Remember you will find some seat fee and for some seat you need to pay. Hence select seats of your choice and click on ‘Continue to pay’.

 

STEP 9: You will be redirected to the payment page. Here you will find some payment option like credit card, debit card, internet banking, wallet, UPI etc. Select anyone of them and complete the payment.

 

STEP 8: After completing the payment you will be redirected to another page. In this page your ticket will be displayed. You will also find ‘Print’ and ‘e-mail’ option. If you want to save or print the ticket then you can save or print clicking on ‘Print’ button and if you want to receive the ticket on email then click on ‘email’ option. The ticket will be sent to your e-mail which you have given at the time of ticket booking.
