How to cancel scheduled payment in SBI

 


Hello friends, in this article we are going to describe on the topic how to cancel scheduled payment in SBI. If you are a SBI customer and you have scheduled a payment /transfers. For some personal reasons you want to cancel the scheduled payment. Then you should know the process how to cancel scheduled transaction in SBI online.

 

Therefore in this article we are describing how to cancel scheduled fund transfer in SBI account. For that first you need to know how to schedule SBI transaction online. If you use SBI internet banking then you can easily set payment schedule.

 

How to cancel scheduled payment in SBI:

Before going to cancel SBI scheduled transaction you must have a scheduled transaction on your internet banking. After that follow the following steps to cancel SBI scheduled payment.

 

STEP 1: Go to www.onlinesbi.com and open the login page of SBI internet banking. After opening the login page login to your account using your internet banking user Id and password.

 

STEP 2: Now you are logged in to your SBI account. You will see a ‘Request & Enquiries’ tab on the top bar of the page. Click on this tab on this page.

 


As you click on ‘Request & enquiries’ some more options will be appeared on the screen. Click on the option ‘Scheduled transaction’ option out of them.

 


STEP 3: Another page will be appeared. In this page you will see three new tabs. One is ‘internet banking transaction’, ‘mobile banking transaction’ and ‘merchant transaction’. Click on the tab within which you have scheduled your transaction. As you click on the tab you will see the scheduled transactions under that category.

 

Here you will see the reference number of the scheduled transaction. Click on this reference number.

 


STEP 4: As you click on the scheduled transaction reference number, the details of the transaction will be appeared. Here you will find the debited account, credited account, date of payment, amount etc. Click on the ‘Cancel’ button to cancel this transaction.

 


STEP 5: A top up message will be displayed on the screen. It ask you ‘are you sure want to cancel the transaction’, click on ‘OK’ to continue.

 

STEP 6: A message will be displayed telling you about the successful transaction.
