How to get SBI Net Banking OTP on email?


           People who are using SBI internet banking receive OTP on almost all transactions. When go to transfer money from your bank account to other then you receive an OTP on your registered mobile number. Many times you have not received the OTP on your mobile due to network delay. Sometimes you may go to such a place where there is no network coverage of your network provider. In that conditions also you will be not received OTP on mobile. When you are travelling outside India and you have not activated international roaming facility on your mobile number then also you will not be received OTP. In such situation what will you do? People always search such an option by which they can transfer money without mobile OTP or getting OTP on e-mail.

If you have added your current email to SBI net banking only then you should follow the bellow process. Here is the step by step process of the setting to get SBI internet banking OTP on mobile. Follow the following steps.

STEP 1: Go to SBI internet banking login page and login with user Id and password. After login to your internet banking you will see some options on the upper bar of the page. Click on the first option ‘My account’s and profile’ on the upper bar. After click on ‘My accounts and profile’ some more options will be appeared. Find the option ‘Profile’ and click on it. 



STEP 2: A new page will open where you are asked to enter your profile password. Enter the profile password and click on 'submit'. Now you will see a list of various options on the screen. Click on the option ‘High security options’.



STEP 3 : In this step you will be redirected to a page where you will see four high security related options. Among these options you need to go to the option ‘mode of authentication through OTP’ and select the option as ‘SMS and email’. After select the option ‘SMS and email’ click on the ‘Submit’ button.



          Now you have done all the process. From now you will be received OTP on mobile and email both whenever you transfer money from your account. If you have not your mobile in your hand, then also you can get OTP on email and can transfer fund using it.

  1. If you are a NRI leaving outside of india, and have SBI account, you cannot login because your SIM will not work in other countries hence you cannot login to your account. Basically you are screwed .
