We all know that
we can travel with the IRCTC ticket booking SMS or IRCTC email or print out of
the e-ticket. But sometimes people deleted the SMS unwantedly and they want the
SMS again to travel by train. In such conditions how can you resend the IRCTC
SMS? That is why we are discussing the topic on this article.
How to resend IRCTC ticket booking SMS:
Before going to resend
the ticket SMS on IRCTC you should know that you can resend the SMS only from
IRCTC website account. You will not be able to send it through IRCTC mobile
app. Hence we will go through the IRCTC website here. Now follow the following
steps.
STEP 1: Go to www.irctc.com and open the
website. On the home page Click on E ticketing and then “Train Ticket Booking”.
STEP 2: You will be redirected to the IRCTC ticket booking page. Go to the
right top of the page and click on the four line option and then click on
login.
STEP 3: You will be asked to login to your account. Enter your IRCTC User Id,
password and captcha code displayed on the screen. And click on “sign in”.
STEP 4: Now you are logged in to your account. Again click on the four ling
option on the right top side of the page. A list of different options will be
appeared. Click on the option “My Account”.
STEP 5: As you click on “My Account” tow new options “My transactions” and “My
profile” will be appeared. Click on the option “My Transactions”.
STEP 6: You will see some more options under “My Transactions”. Click on the
option “Booked ticket history” out of them.
STEP 7: Your booked tickets list will be appeared on the screen. Click on the
booking for which you want to resend the SMS.
STEP 8: Your ticket details will be displayed. Go to the end of the page. You
will see some tabs related to your ticket. Here you will find “Get SMS”. Click
on this option here.
STEP 9: Your IRCTC ticket booking SMS will be sent to your registered mobile
number.
