How to download vehicle RC online:

To download the vehicle registration certificate you will need of the vehicle number, last five digits of chassis number and the mobile number registered with the RC. Keep them handy and then follow the following steps.

 

STEP 1: Go to the website https://parivahan.gov.in and open the home page.

 

STEP 2: Click on the online services tab on the top bar of the page. A list of different options will be appeared on the screen. Click on the option “Vehicle related services”.

 

STEP 3: On this page you are asked to select your state. Select your state where the vehicle is registered from the drop down menu.

 

STEP 4: A new page will open. In this page a pop up window will also open to update mobile number with vehicle RC and driving license. Close this window. Now you will be on the new page. Go to the left side of the page and select your RTO office and trick on the box before the declaration and click on “Proceed”.

 

STEP 5: A message will appeared on the screen. Read the message and click on “Proceed”.

 

STEP 6: You will be redirected to the vehicle related online services page. On the top bar you will see some tabs. Place your cursor on the “Download Documents”. As you placed the cursor on “download documents” three links will be appeared. Click on the link “Print Registration Certificate” out of them.

 

STEP 7: On this page you need to enter your vehicle number and the last five digits of chassis number of your vehicle. Enter both of them and click on “Validate information”.

 

STEP 8: A declaration line will be appeared. It says “I understand that taking RC print from this portal; I will not claim it from RTO/Dealer”. Trick on the box before this line.

 

STEP 9: Your vehicle registration number, last five digits of chassis number and last four digits of your mobile number will be appeared on this page. Click on the option “Generate OTP”

 

STEP 10: An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number. Enter the OTP on the box and click on “Show details”.

 

STEP 11:  After validated the OTP your diving license will be appeared on the screen. Click on the “Print” button to download the vehicle registration certificate.
