How to link IRCTC account with Aadhaar:

Before going to link IRCTC account with Aadhaar you need to have an IRCTC account and Aadhaar number. Hence keep them handy and then follow the following steps.

 

STEP 1: Go to IRCTC Connect mobile app and login to your account.

 

STEP 2: Now you are logged in to your account. Go to the bottom bar of the page. Here you will see “Account” option. Click on this option.

 

STEP 3: As you click on “Account” you will see a list of options on the screen. Click on the link “Authenticate user”.

 

STEP 4: On this page you have to select “Authentication type”. Click on the “Authentication type”. You will see two types. One is PAN and the other is Aadhaar Card/ VID. Select the second option here.

 

STEP 5: Now you will see your name and date of birth. You are asked to enter your Aadhaar number here. Enter your Aadhaar number here. Trick on the box before the declaration and click on “Send OTP” on the top bar of the page.

 

STEP 6: An OTP will be sent to your mobile number linked with Aadhaar. Enter the OTP and click on “Update”.

 

STEP 7: You will see your name as per Aadhaar, last some digits of Aadhaar number and date of birth. You will also see the message “your profile details are successfully authenticated.
