Suppose you are investing on Axis mutual fund through SIP. After sometimes, for some financial reason you are unable to pay your SIP installment. In such conditions you can stop your SIP for some moths. You can stop your SIP for maximum 6 months at a time in axis mutual fund.

How to stop SIP in Axis mutual fund app:

Before going to stop SIP in Axis mutual fund app you should create an account on this app. If you have already created an account on Axis mutual fund app and linked your SIPs then follow the following steps.

 

STEP 1: Open the Axis mutual fund app and click on ‘login’ button.

 

STEP 2: Log in to your account using PIN or fingerprint or user Id and password.

 

STEP 3: As you logged in to your account your total Axis mutual fund investment amount and current value will be appeared on the screen. Click on the three line option on the left top corner of the page.

 

STEP 4: A list of various options will be displayed on the screen. Click on the option ‘Transact’ out of them.

 

STEP 5: Some links will be appeared under transact option after clicking on it. Click on the link ‘Stop SIP’ from the links.

 

STEP 6: Your active SIPs will be displayed on the screen. Click on the ‘Pause SIP’ under the details of SIP which you want to stop.

 

 

STEP 7: Here you are asked to select the period for which you want to pause your SIP. You can select maximum 6 months at a time. Select your period here.

 

The pause start date end date and restart date will be displayed on the screen.  Click on ‘Confirm’ button to stop your SIP.
