How to pay vehicle challan online:

Before going to pay your vehicle challan online you must have the mobile number linked with vehicle RC. If you have the same then follow the following steps.

 

STEP 1: Go to the website https://parivahan.gov.in and open the home page of the website.

 

STEP 2: Place the cursor on the ‘online services’. A list of many options will be appeared on the screen. Click on the eChallan option.

 

STEP 3: You will be redirected to another page. On this page you will see some login options. Go to the end of the page and click on the link ‘get Challan details’.

 

STEP 4: In this page you will see three options. These are challan number, vehicle number and DL number. Select the ‘vehicle number’ here.

 

STEP 5: Here you are asked to enter your vehicle number, captcha code. Enter the details and click on ‘Get details’.

 

STEP 6: An OTP will be sent to the mobile number linked with your vehicle RC. Enter the OTP on this page and click on ‘Submit’.

 

STEP 7: Your available challan will be appeared on the screen. Click on the ‘Pay Now’ button.

 

STEP 8: You will be redirected to payment gateway page. Here you will see payment Id and amount to be paid. Then select payment gateway as ‘SBI ePay (Multi Banking). Select the box ‘I accept terms and conditions’ and click on ‘Continue’.

 

STEP 9: You will be redirected to the payment page. Select any payment option from the list and complete the payment.

 

STEP 10:  Details of your payment will be appeared on the screen. Click on ‘Generate/Print your receipt’ link on this page.

 

STEP 11: Your receipt will be downloaded on your device.
