How to book rail ticket in Yono SBI?

How to book rail ticket in Yono SBI:

Before going to book rail ticket from Yono SBI you should have registered with IRCTC. If you have already registered with IRCTC then keep your user Id and password handy and then follow the following steps.

 

STEP 1: Go to Yono SBI mobile app and login with your MPIN.

 

STEP 2: Now you are on the dashboard of your SBI account. Here you will find an option ‘Train Ticket’. Click on this option on this page.

 


STEP 3: You will be redirected to the train search page. In this page you need to enter from station and to station, date of journey class and quota. Enter the starting station and destination station, date of journey, class like sleeper, AC 2 Tier, AC 3Tier etc. quota as general, tatkal, physically handicapped etc. Finally click on ‘search’.

 

STEP 4: The available trains on the selected road will be appeared on the screen. You will also see the class you have selected on the above step. Click on the class icon here.

 

STEP 5: As you click on the seat availability will be displayed on the screen. You can also check seat availability for the next 5 days by clicking on ‘view next 5 days availability’. You will also see the fare of the ticket and a ‘book now’ option on this page. Click on this ‘book now’ option here.

 

STEP 6: As you click on the ‘book now’ option you will be redirected to another page. Here you are asked to enter your IRCTC user Id. Enter your user Id and click on ‘proceed’.

 

STEP 7: On this page you have to enter passenger name, age, gender, berth choice, nationality etc. Enter all the details correctly.

 

Click on the link ‘add another traveller’ to add more passenger on this ticket. You can add maximum 6 passengers in a ticket. You can also add infant (whose maximum age is 2 years) by clicking on ‘Add infant’ link. Finally click on ‘Next’.

 


STEP 8: In this step you will see your boarding station. Select the boarding station if you want to change it.

 

Here you have to enter your mobile number, in which your ticket details will be sent. If you want to upgrade your seat to higher class at the same price then trick on the box before ‘consider for auto up gradation’.

 

Then accept the booking policy by clicking on the box before the booking policy.

 

You can also opt for travel policy for Rs.0.45/- by clicking on ‘Yes’. The amount will be included at your final ticket price. Click on ‘No’ if you don’t want to take the insurance.

 

Finally click on ‘Next’.

 

STEP 9: The remaining steps for booking train ticket on Yono will be displayed on the screen. The remaining steps are as under.

a. Review fare details and make payments.

b. You will be redirected IRCTC login page on successful payment.

c. Enter IRCTC password and captcha to complete booking.

 

If you forgot your IRCTC password then you can reset by entering your mobile number linked with IRCTC account here.

 

Click on ‘Proceed’ button here.

 

STEP 10: A pop up message will be displayed on the screen. It says ‘berth are allotted by the automated system and given as per your preference only if available’. Click on ‘OK’ here.

 

STEP 11: Now you are on the payment page. Here you will find two payment options one is through SBI account and the other is through debit card/credit card.

 

Select SBI account here. You will see last four digits of your account number, account holder’s name and available balance on it. Click on ‘pay now’ button to make payment.

 

STEP 12: An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number linked with SBI. Enter the OTP on this page and click on ‘Submit’.

 

STEP 13: A pop up message will appeared. It says ‘Payment successful! You will be redirected to IRCTC site now to enter password for IRCTC user ID’. Click on OK here.

 

STEP 14: Now you are on IRCTC site. You will see your IRCTC user ID which you have entered on the previous step. You are asked to enter the IRCTC password against the displayed user Id and the captcha code displayed on the screen. Enter both of them and click on submit.

 

STEP 15: Your ticket will be booked. You will see your ticket details on this page. You can download the ticket on your device by clicking on the ‘download’ symbol and can send it on email /SMS by clicking on ‘Email/SMS’ option.
