STEP 1: Go to Google play store and install the invest app SBI mutual fund mobile app on your mobile.

 

STEP 2: Open the app on your mobile. Allow the permission asked by the mutual fund app.

 

STEP 3: In this page you will see two sign up options sign up with email and sign up with Google. Click on sign up with email option here.

 

STEP 4: As you click on ‘Sign Up with email’ you will be redirected to account creation page. In this page you are asked to enter your first name, last name, mobile number, email address and a password. Enter all the details it asked and click on ‘Create account’.

 

STEP 5: Another page will be opened, enter your PAN number and click on ‘verify PAN’.

 

STEP 6: In this step a message will be appeared, it says that your PAN is not verified. It means your PAN is not KYC completed. To verify KYC you need to enter your mobile number and email address on this page. Enter both and click on ‘Continue’.

 

STEP 7: An OTP will be sent to your email address. Enter the OTP here and click on ’submit OTP and Register’ button.

 

STEP 8: You will be redirected to PAN verification page. You can verify PAN in two ways. One is verify PAN instant processing using Aadhaar and the other is using video KYC it will take 24 hours. Click on Aadhaar base KYC on this page.

 

STEP 9: Here you are asked to keep PAN card, Aadhaar card and cancelled sign cheque handy. Now click on ‘Continue’.

 

STEP 10: Now you will reach CAMS e-KYC page. Here you will see what details have to be uploaded and enter for e-KYC. Go to the end of the page and trick on ‘I understand and I agree’ and click on ‘I have these continue’.

 

STEP 11: Frist you are asked to upload your photo of PAN (you can also take a photo of PAN directly using your mobile camera). The file size should be within 5MB and the file format should be jpg, jpeg, png and PDF. After uploading the document you have to enter your contact details like Aadhaar number, mobile number and email address. Enter the details and click on ‘Generate OTP’ option.

 

STEP 12: Enter the OTP received on your message and email and click on ‘Next”.

 

STEP 13: Once the details related to PAN will be appeared on the screen. Check all the details and click on ‘Next’.

 

STEP 14: An OTP linked with Aadhaar will also be sent to your mobile number linked with Aadhaar for address proof. Enter the OTP and click on ‘validate Aadhaar OTP. Check your address details and click on ‘Next’ button.

 

STEP 15: In this step you need to upload your Bank account details means bank cancelled cheque with sign. Upload the cheque and enter the bank account details like account number, IFS code, account holder’s name etc. and click on ‘Next’.

 

STEP 16: finally upload photo of your signature, you can also do your live sign on your screen.

 

STEP 17: All the details you have entered on the process will be appeared on the screen. Check the details and trick on the box before ‘I hereby consent’ and click on ‘e-sign and submit’ form. You can also download the e-sign form clicking on ‘Download filled form’.

 

STEP 18: Now you will be redirected to Protean Electronic Signature Services page. Trick on the box ‘I hereby authorised’, enter your Aadhaar number or virtual ID and click on ‘Send OTP’.

 

STEP 19: An OTP will be received on the mobile number linked with Aadhaar. Enter the OTP and click on ‘verify OTP’.

 

STEP 20: As you verified the OTP, a message will be displayed on the screen. ‘Dear Applicant your KYC is now in process. You will receive communication on progress of your KYC on your registered mobile number and email. A copy of e-signed form has been sent to your registered email ID.

 

You can also download e-signed copy by clicking on ‘download e-sign copy’.

 

STEP 21: A message from CAMS will be received on your mobile number. Here you will find a link and OTP and it will ask to verify your mobile number. Click on the link enter the OTP, click on ‘I am not a robot’ and finally click on ‘submit’.

 

Your mobile number will be verified. You need to wait an hour and after one hour your e-KYC will be verified and you can invest in SBI mutual fund. You will also be received mail and SMS after completion of e-KYC.
