How to disable fingerprint login in Yono SBI?

 


Hi friends, in the last article we have discussed about how to enable fingerprint in Yono SBI. But in this article we are going to discuss how to disable fingerprint login in Yon SBI. After enable fingerprint login many of customers don’t want to use this facility. In such conditions they want to disable fingerprint login.

How to disable fingerprint login in Yono SBI:

Before going to disable fingerprint authentication in Yono SBI you should have enabled this facility before. Now follow the following steps.

 

STEP 1: Go to Yono SBI mobile app and login to your account.

 

STEP 2: Now you are logged in to your account. Here you will see a three line menu option on the top left corner of the page. Click on this three line menu option.

 


STEP 3: A list of different options will be displayed. Click on ‘Service request’ out of them.

 


STEP 4: Here you will see some different options on the ‘service request’ page. Click on ‘settings’ option here.

 

STEP 5: In this page you will find various links under the settings option. Out of them click on the link ‘Enable / Disable biometric for Yono access’.

 


STEP 6: You will be redirected to biometric page. Here on the top of the page you will see ‘enable/ Disable touch Id authentication’ button. You need to turn off this button here. Turn off the button, accept terms and conditions and finally click on ‘Submit’ button.

 


STEP 7: As you click on the ‘Submit’ button on the above step a pop up message will be displayed. It says ‘On disabling biometrics, you will not be able to use biometric authentication for any Yono quick pay transaction’. Click on ‘OK’ here.

 

STEP 8: An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number with SBI. Enter the OTP on this page and click on ‘Submit’.

 

Again a pop up message will displayed. It confirmed you that touch Id has been disabled. It means your fingerprint authentication has been disabled.
