How to apply for PMJJBY online in SBI?

How to apply for PMJJBY online in SBI:

Before going to proceed for applying for Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Beema Yojana online you need to register in SBI internet banking. If you have already registered in SBI internet banking and have user Id and password then follow the following steps.

 

STEP 1: Go to www.onlinesbi.com and open the login page of to the personal banking. Then login with your user Id, password and OTP received on registered mobile number.

 

STEP 2: Now you are logged in to your SBI account. In this page you will see a ‘e-services’ tab. Click on this tab.

 

STEP 3: After click on the tab ‘e-services’ a list of various options will be appeared. Find the option ‘Social security schemes (PMJJBY, PMSBY, APY)’ and click on this option.

 

STEP 4: In this step you have to select the scheme name and your account number from the drop down menu seen on the page. Select the scheme name as "Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Beema Yojana" and the account number from the drop down menu. Keep in mind that the amount will be debited from this selected account every year. Finally click on ‘submit’ button.

 

STEP 5: In this step you will see the scheme name and the account number which you have selected on the previous step. You need to select the CIF number and account holder name from the drop down menu. Select the CIF number here and click on ‘submit’.

 

STEP 6: In this page your selected scheme and the debited account number will be shown on this page. You have to enter your address, contact details and nominee details. Enter all the details correctly here. You will find some field prefilled here.

 

If your nominee is minor then you have to enter the name of the guardian also. After entering all the details click on ‘submit’ button.

 

STEP 7:  Now successful massage of your application will be displayed on the screen. The payment of 330 rupees is also debited from your account.  If you want to check the status of your application, click on the “Status” button here.
