blog we are going to discuss about how to make correction in Covid vaccination
certificate. We all know that we got vaccination certificate after taken Covid
vaccination. Many times the certificate is needed when you are travelling in
the other state or internationally.
I have seen that
most people have the same problem that
there is a mistake in Covid vaccination certificate. How can we make correction
in the Covid vaccination certificate? Now government has introduced an option to
making correction on Covid vaccine certificate.
One can apply
for make correction in Covid vaccination certificate only if he or she has the
correct registered mobile number with Cowin portal. Otherwise he or she can’t
make correction in Covid certificate. Because of one OTP is sent to your
registered mobile number when you go to log in to your Cowin account.
How to make correction in Covid Vaccination
certificate:
Now we are going
to describe the step by step process of how to apply for correction in Covid
vaccination certificate. Follow the following steps for making correction in
Covid certificate.
STEP 1: Go to
the website www.cowin.gov.in and open the
home page of the website.
STEP 2: Now you
are on the Cowin website’s home page. You will see an option ‘Login/Register
yourself’. Click on this option.
STEP 3: A new
page will open where you are asked to enter your mobile number. Enter the
mobile number which you have registered for the Covid vaccination. After
entering the mobile number, click on the ‘Get OTP’.
STEP 4: An OTP
will be received on the mobile number you have entered. In this page you are
asked to enter the OTP received on your mobile number. Enter the OTP here and
click on ‘verify and proceed’ button.
STEP 5: Now you
are logged in to your Covid vaccination account. You will see your vaccination
details here. On the top of the page you will see an option ‘Raise an Issue’.
Click on this option.
STEP 6: In this
page on the top a massage will be appeared. It says ‘Tell us about your problem
we will try to resolve and get back to you’. Under this massage you will see an
option to select the member. Select the member i.e. your name from the drop
down menu.
You will also
see a question ‘what is the issue?’ and an answer ‘correction in certificate’.
You need to select the question. Select the question here.
STEP 7: As you
select the question you will see four fields name, year of birth, gender and
photo Id number. A massage also appeared. It says that you can request for
changes in any two of the four fields and you can make changes only once.
Hence select the
field in which you want to make changes/correction. As you select the fields
you are asked to enter the correct details. Enter the correct details here and
click on the ‘continue’ button.
STEP 8: In this
page you are asked to verify your derails carefully.
A massage will
also be displayed on the top of the page. It said that you can edit your certificate
only once. The information displayed bellow will be updated in your
certificate. Once updated the old certificate will be deleted and it will not
be possible to reverse the changes.
Here you will
see the details to be updated. Check the details once again and read the
declaration. Finally click on ‘Submit’.
Now a massage
will displayed that your request has been submitted successfully and is under
processing.
This is the
process how you can request to make correction in your Covid vaccination
certificate. After successfully submitted the application it takes 2-3 days to
update the certificate. A SMS will be received on your mobile after correction
of the certificate.
